Donating your unused boat or jet ski to Nobis Works, regardless of the size, type, or quality, is a great way to give back to your community. Our program provides vocational training and support for people with disabilities across the country; your donation is the assistance we need to continue helping others.
Like a monetary donation, donating a boat or jet ski provides Nobis Works the financial support required to give our participants the job training they need to lead independent lives.

How it Works
What information do I need to provide?
We’ll need to know the make, model, and year of your boat or jet ski, and where to pick up it up. You will need to complete a Bill of Sale, and provide a current DNR tag or receipt for your boat or jet ski.
Please note that all boats and jet skis must have an accompanying trailer that you wish to donate. We cannot transport boats or jet skis that do not have trailers.
What condition should my boat or jet ski be in?
Your boat or jet ski can be in great condition or well used. As long as it runs, we are more than happy to accept it as a donation.
How does my boat or jet ski donation help?
Your boat or jet ski (and trailer) will be sold at auction by Nobis Works. The money gained from the sale will go towards providing people with disabilities and other barriers to employment with job training and vocational support.
Is my boat or jet ski donation tax deductible?
It certainly can be. Once your donation is complete, we’ll send you a 1098-c tax form detailing the specifics of your donation. If your boat or jet ski receives more than $500 at auction, you will need to provide your social security number for tax recording. We will send you a secure link for this information a few days after your donation is picked up and finalized. If your donation receives less than this amount, you can claim up to $500 or the fair market value of your donation
When will my boat or jet ski be picked up?
In most cases, your boat or jet ski and trailer will be picked up within two to five business days. At the time of pickup, we will present you with a receipt for your donation. If you are not able to be there when we pick up your boat or jet ski, just let us know where the keys and title are and where you would like the receipt placed.
