Nobis Works’ motorcycle donation program takes unwanted or unused bikes and auctions them to support our programs. With these donations, we will be able to continue to provide the vocational training and support that our program participants need to find financial independence and a new lease on life.

Motorcycles are used just as any form of monetary donation would be. The only difference is, we pick up and auction your motorcycle for you. The money gained from these sales will provide essential support and supplies for the people in our program.

We aim to make donating as easy as possible for you, which is why we will come and pick up your motorcycle from your home at no charge. All you have to do is fill out a form.

How it works

What information do you need?

We will need to know some basic information about your motorcycle like make, model, year, year, and condition. Once you provide us with this information, and an address at which to pick up your motorcycle, we’ll schedule a pickup time and date that’s convenient for you.

What condition does a motorcycle donation need to be in?

Your bike doesn’t have to run for it to be a valuable donation. Though motorcycles in better condition will provide more support, all donations are thoroughly appreciated.

How will my donated motorcycle help?

Your motorcycle will be sold at auction by Nobis Works. The money gained from the sale will go towards providing people with disabilities and other barriers with job training and vocational support.

Is the motorcycle donation tax deductible?

It certainly can be. Once the donation process is complete, we’ll send a 1098-c tax form. This form will contain details of your donation.

If your motorcycle receives less than $500 at auction, you can claim the fair market value or the $500. If it gets more than this amount at auction, you’ll need to provide your social security number for the tax form claim so you can claim the amount we received for your donation.

When will my motorcycle be picked up?

We will arrange a time to pick up your motorcycle in two to five business days. When the tow truck arrives to collect your bike, you’ll be presented with a receipt, confirming your donation and the pickup. If you are not able to be home, just let us know where the keys and title are and where you would like us to leave the receipt.
